Lenten Devotion for March 6 by Greyson Neckels and Paul Rodgers

For the people of Israel belong to God. They are God’s special possession. God found them in a desert land, in an empty, howling wasteland. God surrounded them and watched over them; God guarded them as if they were God’s own eyes. Like an eagle that rouses her chicks and hovers over her young, so God’s wings spread and took them up and carried them safely on pinions. Deut. 32:9-11

Paul Rodgers (6) and Greyson Neckels (8)

Let us pray. God, we thank you that you hold us in your wings and do not abandon us into a desert wasteland. We give thanks that even in our darkest wilderness, you do not leave us or forsake us. Amen.
