Lenten Devotion for Mar. 14 written by Chris Henry

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God — not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.” Ephesians 2: 8-10

When I struggle, I'm comforted by grace. When I lack understanding, I'm relieved by grace. When I witness harm, I'm guided by grace. God's grace. His gift of grace aides us when we are troubled, brings clarity in our confusion, and shepherds us to ways of peace in the face of suffering. We are blessed by God's grace through our faith. His ultimate grace is our salvation.

Let us pray. Dear Lord, your gift of grace comforts and guides us. As we learn through your Son Jesus Christ, our growing faith leads us to everlasting salvation with You. Amen.
